If you like racing SIMS...
As an early x-mas gift to myself, I went out and bought Toca: Race Driver 2 and Colin Mcrae Rally 2005. They both got good reviews and I was blown away to find out that Toca was only $30 and Mcrae was only $20 retail. They are both relatively new games, but I do understand part of why they are so cheap. They both came on one DVD, with nothing else in the box except a manual. Let me just say, I have a newfound love for the British. Cheap, no BS games that are excellent in every regard. I initially went shopping just for Mcrae but when I saw how cheap they were I had to splurge.
I don't have a steering wheel but I have an Xbox controller modded for USB use as per the guide here in the forums, and the control is great. There is a ton to do in both games, graphics are amazing, sound is especially amazing in Mcrae, and they are the most realistic games I've played if you turn the damage up (which I can't really do yet.) So if you are a racing SIM fan (these aren't arcade games by any means), I give both of them my vote and I look forward to other titles from Codemasters. They are now #2 on my dedicated customer list behind Blizzard.

Good call... there's no doubt both Blizzard and Codemasters only turn out quality games
You have only to look at the longevity of the McRae series of games to realise this |
