Need help with Age of Mythology...
Ok, I have Age of Mythology and it won't let me install it again. I had to recently uninstall, but it worked before. I know the cd's aren't messed up because it installed fine on my brothers computer.
I just want to be able to play it again without reformatting! |

Do you get any error messages?

Yea, there is a problem with one of the sounds (i think, lemme check one more time). I can install the first disc no problem, but after I put in the second disc (at approx 64%) it gets that sound error problem. It the asks me to insert CD 2, but it's already in the drive!
I REALLLLY don't want to reformat due to one game too.

try to go into your windows explore and see if you have any game files left in there, if you do delete them. sometimes that has worked for me.

I really want to play this! But is there any way to get this thing working short of reformatting?

just as a last resort, before you take all the trouble to reformat (if you do) if you have access to another pc maybe try just swapping out you cd drive and trying another, I have had trouble in the past with certain drives being picky about cds
