That's an awfully good price! To bad I couldn't wait - would've saved $20...

It's a great game - the best FPS I've ever played - period. You'll enjoy it especially at such low prices.

i would assume imported means they recieved the game boxes from other english speaking countries or english versions sold in other countries where the conversion rate is cheaper so that you can sell it for cheaper. non imported is boxes that were made in the US to be sold in the US. that's how i think it is anyways

I bought an import from NewEgg and it was exactly the same except the box looked like it came from the UK and had a UK rating system. Besides that it was all the same.

I would buy that if I wasn't in the UK. Annoying. I am planning to buy HL2 tomorrow or the day after anyway with some christmas money. Dragon, I really don't know why they import stuff from the UK. The RRP is £35, and it is about $1.8/1.9 to the pound I think. Don't have a clue how they make it cheaper. Also Darth Revan that box doesn't look like it is from the UK, overwise it would have a BBFC 15 rating on the front. You must get it from a different country then.

As long as it is English I don't care to much where it came from. But it's so slow getting here. Maybe it is because I ordered it today.....

I bought it for myself for Christmas on Wednesday, and man, I love it. The graphics are amazing. Comparing my graphics with reviews of the top cards, mine is almost as good. I do have a couple sound issues, like stuttering after a level loads. I can live with it. I just got through the graveyard and am on the railroad tracks with someone killing me from the overpass. I dream about this stupid game. My grandson watches me from behind and it scares him, but he can't stop watching it either. Love the sound of the magnum!!!

Ok so the only difference between the imported version and the retail version is the boxes are different because they were from different english speaking countries?

It's the same price at Best Buy right now and it's not the imported version as far as I can tell.

I played it at a friend's house because my computer would not be able to handle it. I've already melted one video card in this thing. It's amazing. I love how you can throw stuff everywhere. haha.

Graphics were insane. I was really hoping there wouldnt be any barnicles (sp?) in the new version... I hate those things.

I think the coolest thing is how everything is interactive.

At the begining of the game when that guy throws you the same crow bar from the last game, I nearly swore at the computer, haha. I was rather hoping for a gun.

Your system can play it fine. I've seen it look good even on a Radeon 7500

stoopid me.

And I hope that newegg just forgot to update the shipping info. I ordered before 11 this morning and paid for express shipping so it was supposed to go out today but I still don't have a tracking number.
