Going to get a PS2

As soon as Newegg stocks them; eveyrone plus them are sold out till 2005. Anyway preparing on buying the separate controller and memory card, but having a little trouble on deciding on games. I am more interested in driving than anything else, but also want at least one motorcycle game and one martial arts fighting game. So far this is my list that has room for editing; please advice.

Need for Speed Underground (Latest Version)
ATV OffRoad Fury 2
Burnout 3:Takedown
Virtual Fighter 4 (not sure about this one, can you recommend something better)
Gran Turismo (latest version)

I'd suggest going for Burnout 3, all 3 Ratchet and Clank games, and LOTR: The Third Age. I know the second 2 aren't on your list, but really are great games worth looking at.

Your list has most of the current "good" driving games on it so I can't really suggest anything else for driving. Just in case you don't know, ATV Offroad Fury 3 is out now, unless you just really want to try ATV O.F. 2 (personally, I wasn't that impressed with it; sort of a so-so game, better than the first though). As for one not to get, don't bother with Driver 3 (or Driv3r as they call it)....it's just plain annoying with all the bugs that game's got. For fighting games, I've read the graphics in the Virtua Fighter series is starting to show its age. About the only fighting games I get are the Mortal Kombat's or Tekken. I've heard Street Fighter: Anniversary Edition is good but I haven't tried it yet.

Two of the best driving games I have ever played are Project Gotham 2 and Ralisport Challenge 2 for Xbox. Absolutely superb. For PS2 GranTurismo is probably the best one. NFS Underground is a good game too.
