Specs 2005

Post your specs everyone!!
Also, include your 3dmark2001/03/05 scores (downloadable here ).

Here's mine to start this off (specs in sig, everything at stock speeds):

3Dmark2001SE: 22413

3Dmark03:12710

3DMark05: 5830

Please post your scores at stock speeds, although by no means exclude the overclocked scores

Just been doing one of those 3D Mark05 things. Got 10358. That any good?
Knocked up 404Fps on Doom3.

I don't know. I'm not really into the whole benchmarking thing.

That's really good, especially considering the graphics card you've got.

Not really running this system right now, because the PSU needs to be replaced (I'm about to call Antec about that). Next to each part I'm putting what I intend to upgrade to this summer.
  • Pentium 4 Northwood 2.8C GHz OCed to 3.15 using stock HSF --> dual-core chip based on Pentium-M or A64 architecture
  • Asus P4P800 Deluxe motherboard (i865PE chipset with ICH5R) --> applicable Asus replacement
  • 1 GB (2x512 MB) Kingston HyperX PC3200 DDR (2-3-2-6 timings) --> another GB if possible, or else 1 GB of DDR2 if not
  • ATI Radeon 9700 Pro --> nVidia PCI-E part in $250-350 range
  • 2x Western Digital WD360GD Raptor hard drives (36 GB) --> keep
  • Western Digital WD2500JB 250 GB storage drive --> possibly 3x 250 GB SATA drives in RAID 5
  • Lite-On 16x DVD-ROM and 52x32x52x CD-RWs, flea market floppy --> Lite-On combo and DVD+/-RW drives, black floppy
  • Cooler Master Wave Master aluminum case --> Lian-Li PC-V1000 case
  • Antec SmartPower SL400 PSU --> 500W PSU that meets ATX12V v2.0 spec
  • Dell UltraSharp 2001FP 20" LCD --> possibly a 20" or 23" widescreen LCD
  • Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 speakers on onboard sound (Audigy was acting up) --> keep
  • Dell keyboard and MS IntelliMouse 3.0 --> Microsoft Wireless Desktop Elite
  • HP LaserJet 1100 printer --> keep

Fedz - Floppyman already has a Specfest going. It seems like only weeks ago it was created.

Asus boards? What Asus boards? You use them - I've seen that, but all 4 of my systems use standard Intel boards, although I use a system which I built for my friend for overclocking, which has an Abit board (obviously)
You should get down to folding a little more - you've got some serious potential there

As the rig in my sig is down again, I'm on my lappy and the family computer

Family Dell
2.4Ghz 533fsb P4 Northwood
80GBHDD
512mb RAM Dual Channel (4x128)
fx5200
Dell DVD drive
Dell Cd Burner
Dell mobo

Lappy
650Mhz PIII
256mb RAM
8mb Rage Ultra Mobility (one hell of a gaming card)
Half-working keyboard
Missing pointer stick top
LCD that is invisible in daylight, and has a max rez of 1024x756
A single low quality speaker on the right side
Runs XP surpringly well (about as good as the family dell when not multitasking)

Kinda funny, it has either a serial or parallel port on the back. Whatever the MicrosoftS Sidewinder Precision Pro joystick from 6 years ago plugs into. It's also got some kind of weird port about ide cable side, that has a little circuit board in the middle and two gold screw plugs on the side of the slot.

Some surprises there Cricket, looks like the old stock is being revamped eh...?
HiHo - your gaming rig looks nice except that one single next-gen nvidia card is supposed to be 3x more powerful than a 6800GT, if you see what I mean

Check my sig. I actually got my VIVO past PE speeds stable now. Might buy some extra cooling for it when I find an old lady to rob, see how far I can get it. It's fine for the only game I play right now anyway.

Here's my computer specs in a little bit of a larger picture : Computer Specs or look at my signature.

ASUS P4P800 Motherboard
Intel 2.6 GHz CPU
ATI 9700 Pro AIW Video Card
1 - GB of Corsair XMS Memory
2 - 80 GB Western Digital Hard Drives
1 - Sony Dru-510A DVD Drive (DVD -/+ R/RW)
1 - Plextor CD-R Drive
Antec Overture Case
23-Inch Apple Cinema HD Display (A Recent Add-On)

If you look at the picture it looks like the scene from "Lord of the Rings:ROTK" was Photoshop, but it wasn't (at least to me it looks that way) it was actually playing on the computer at the time of the picture.

Hey Strider, nice rig! If you'd like to color match your drive faceplates to the aluminum front of your case, try removing the face plates and spraying them with Krylon Short Cuts (small can) in Chrome color. Matched my Antec P160 perfectly. $2.28 a can here in GR at Meijer's.
