It seems i'm not able to run Jedi Academy/Jedi Outcast on this computer (Gateway Pentium III w/ SavagelX video card) . When I click "Single Player Game", it runs through the code and changes the screen res a few times, then says, "could not open OpenGL subsystem". What do I do? I've heard that this means I need a different video card, but is there anything else I can do?
Thanks, Mr. Howdeedoo |

Yes I have seen people get message when they try to start up Quake III. Make sure your video card has updated drivers I did that when i got the message for Quake and it fixed it. But you maybe right you may need a new video card.

The minimum system requirements for Jedi Academy include a 32MB graphics card. It looks like you'll have to upgrade to play it.

I don't really know if that is actually the minimum req. I had a Dell 4500s Microdesktop and it had the Intel extreme graphics controler itnegrated and it ran fine at mid or mid/high settings. it had 256 PC2100 and a P4 1.8Ghz non HT processor.
