I dont know...I would just save my money and buy a nice computer. (That's coming from a guy who spent a lot of money on the Sega GameGear back in the day though...)
See if Newegg has one (Do they even sell console / handheld stuff?) Or try your nearest retail store -- although their prices will most likely be much higher if $499 is cheap for it. (According to your link) EDIT: BTW, what is a DS Station?

I would buy the Nintendo DS(I assume that is what you are talking about when you speak of the 'station'). Much cheaper and I have heard it is great. Guess it might depend on what you want to play though and how tight you are with your money spending.

Yea im waiting for the PSP's to come out in the US. They are supposed to launch at around $180 usd. Paying an extra $300 does not seem worth it to import it.

I know I can't really suggest anything since I have tried neither system. But think about it this way...You're paying more for less. The DS(200-300?) and games ($40USD) don't compare to the visuals and performance of the PSP. I've heard good things about the DS, but how can you compare Spider Man 2 to the PSP version? PSP SM2 > DS SM2 They don't compare.
If it was up to me, I'd buy neither system. Now you can buy an Xbox for the price of a DS and maybe 2 Xboxes for the price of a PSP. PSP has some kind of ejection glitch. The disc just pops out when the device is held a certain way. But its a minor problem ? But I guess people don't mind spending a few hundreds on a faulty system. Whats the point of buying a portable gaming device when the battery life will last you 4 hours minimum with everything running?
