my fps went to h3ll

Ok, reformatted my win2k machine.
Loaded sp1, and all that crap, amd agp reg hack and all.
So I loaded the 6.50 nvidia drivers, I was getting like 20-50 fps, (when I used to get 80-100)and sometimes to like 13, so I tried 7.76 drivers same thing. man the 6.50 drivers were great before I reformatted.

I just don't understand what happened. Now online play sucks even worse
(dial up AND slow fps)
Somebody throw me a bone here.
I use 1024, 16 bit, always have before, and worked fine. I am not in a good mood!

When win2k runs out of RAM, it takes about 15-20 seconds in game sometimes to even out. I see this all the time, but it returns to normal within a minute, how long have you played and seen this low framerate? Did you give it a chance to see if it would fix itself?

Do you have ACPI on? All devices on one IRQ maybe as win2k so loves to do with ACPI?

hmm, for some reason, my bios reset,
just reset everything, (agp aperture was off also)
This is twice this board has done that. hmmm
