Doom 2
Is anyone familiar with Doom 2? I have having some problems figuring out how to pass a few of the levels. One in particular. If anyone could help me I would greatly appricate it. It is level 2 Underhalls. I can't figure out how to get the red key. If anyone knows I could sure use the help. Thank you much!!

Or just watch the video of the guy who beat doom 2 in 14 min 41 sec and see how he did it. . .

Downloading the movie now. I tried the walkthrough but I am still finding it impossible to complete that level. I am doing like it says. It is telling me how you are supposed to jump acrossed from the ledge into the window and it isn't working I keep missing landing in the window. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. Is there something I am supposed to push as I run acrossed? Is there a certain area that I should run from? Is there any special way that I should be doing it to land on that window? Please help. The more I try the more frustrated I get.

The above links work if you right-click on them and select save.
Quote from one of these walkthroughs: "Facing the opening, back up, and *run* across the gap into the opening (you need Always Run on)." Looks like you only need to run. Actually, on the video that guy also just ran into the window. Can't say more as I've never played doom2, though. Quote:

Ok thank you for telling me how to work the links. I finally figure out what I was doing wrong and I know how to pass the level now....WHEW. The only dumb thing I was doing was I wasn't pushing shift to run fast enough. Thank you all again. HUGE help
