Microsoft Flight Simlutor 2004: Century of Flight, and a joystick with preferably at least 2,000 buttons (only a slight exaggeration)

CRASH

A bunch of reviews of MS Flight simulator 2004 complained that it crashed their system.

If you're looking for a combat flight sim, check out Lock On: Modern Air Combat.

The IL2 Sturmovik series, especially Forgotten Battles, is the best combat sim since Longbow 2. Looks, sounds, and feels awsome. Tons of planes to fly, very realistic handling. MS 2004 is good for a civil sim, but terrain graphics look really dated. Makes you feel like your flying 35 mph when near the ground. In IL2, you feel like your moving 300 mph when buzzing the treetops. It's almost exhilerating. I know these are different types of sims, but they're the only ones on my hard drive these days, so why not compare 'em?
