Good Clean Counter-Strike Server

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good clean CS 1.6 server. When I say good and clean I mean no swearing, respectable players, non-abusive admins, and just a general "play here, have fun, but we all know the real world is more important" type server (No "look at my uber leet mad skillz owning all you noobs" ) Anyone know of a clan server or public server like this?

Well good luck finding a pretty good server.. What i hear most of the time are the vets and other that have no life spend all there time playing in "noob" servers and other just to pick on them.. Sence they have no life. I would be playing online but i got a crapy connection intill i get dsl i wont be playing on line. But my cusion has a server and i can ask him for the ip.

There are a few questionable servers, but not too many of them. Most servers are full of average players that usually frown on objectionable material.

Good luck with that. Counter-Strike is a great game plagued with immature players that don't realize that it's just a game. But If you want to play just add whr2206@cs.com to your friends list and we can play sometime....

I have been playing Coutner Strike Source and I haven't encountered too many annoying people. Most of the servers I've been in were pretty good. Maybe it's different for the original CS?

Well... The majority of people who play aren't annoying... It just seems that in every server there is always someone who is like "Im 1337 I pwn you n00bcakes" Or takes it way too serious.... But I guess thats the way it is in every game huh?

I just jump from serer to server until I find one with decent people. I eventually find one in 10 min.

There are alot of camper servers, hate those, adn vets that like to pwn the n00bs

I haven't happened across many servers full of campers. Again, if someone is accused of camping, the admin takes a look, warns the guy, and gives 'em da boot if they fail to abide by the warning.

For the record, most vets do not want to bother going against new players. It's overkill and no challenge.

I cant play a game without 2-3 members of the other team camping in corners and behind things, I cant do it because I am impatient and I have to be moving.

Every game I ever played the vets like to go pwn the n00bs evey now and them. SOFII was really bad about it. I think over time many people have stopped labeling rooms with the name n00b in it for that reason.

Unfortunately I have yet to come across a public server that isn't plagued with such things like swearing, camping and other things that can take away from the enjoyment of an online game.

The best way to avoid these things would be to start your own clan and rent your own private server so noobs and cheaters can't get in.

I'm no CS vet or actually any good but I don't get the complaints about campers. I like to keep moving too and if a camper keeps taking me out in one place, I clock where he is, go around another route and pop a cap in his...

Rather than call camper, deal with him yourself. Having said that they are anoying for the few rounds they get you. And the advice I've given is sometimes easier said than done!

Also, try going for no auto-snipe servers. That'll cut down on some of the bs you get in CS.
