I was reading somewhere about a new game that's either coming out or is already out. Anyway I can't find the article and the game sounded REALLY interesting. It's a first person shooter (I Think) where everything in the game is able to be destroyed. Someone standing behind a wall, no problem just blast the wall and take care of them. MAN!!! I wish I could remember where I was reading this. I want to try this game BAAAAD!! If anyone knows of this game or where I can catch the review at again please let me know.
Thanks Gene |

Sounds like Deus Ex, you can manipulate just about everything in it.
I also wanna say that the latest Delta Force games allow you to shoot through walls and manipulate the terrain and stationary objects. Delta Force 2 or mayble Delta Force Land Warrior (which I think is the third one). Xayd |

Buy it quick! The Republicans are drawing lines between violent video games, Teletubbies and the Ted Bundy's of this world. They will soon be dictated off the wall (and possibly burned)

Well I never did find the exact article I was reading but the more I read about this new game called Red Faction I'm starting to believe that it's the game I read about.

Yeah, ya just can't win anymore. The Dems want my money and the Reps want my games and TV stations.
If only Libertarians were violent enough to stage a coup... .Xayd |

Most likely it is the game your thinking of. It was actually going to be called Descent 4, which would have continued the series of Descent 1 - 3. Unfortunately there was a falling out between the developers involved in the project and they moved from the flying ship genre of the Descent series of games, (Which rock as they allow TRUE 6 degrees of movement) into a ground pounder. If the effects are anything like Descent 3, the game will rock. Looks like they are taking their time on this one as there are no demos yet.
Here's some screenshots and downloads for Red Faction; http://www.redfaction.com/downloads.cfm Here's a link to the Descent 3 demo; http://www.interplay.com/descent3/fdemos.html |

Yah I also would say that you were thinking of Red Faction looks like a really sweet game except when I heard about the plot and the apparent lack of a good multiplayer setup, however with a bit of work could get one up yourself easy, I was minerly dissapointed.
