Looping, freezing, and black? Sounds like a possible heat problem with your video card. Any overclocking going on? Enough fans pushing air in the right direction?

-SYSTEM 29 C -CPU 34 C I also beleive that it could be the video card overheating...or defective.. Is there a way to check..? |

Since you have good case cooling, and your cpu temps are ok, and you have tried updating everything, it sounds like your gpu heatsink might be loose/have bad thermal paste or something.
I am not familliar with the ati driver control panel, but if you look around there may be a temp reading somewhere in there. If you are comfortable with it, check your cards heatsink and see if it sitting fully flat on the core, and that the fan is working, and dust free. I get the exact same problem with my system and, i can only play games with a housefan directed into the open case lol ![]() Edit: Just noticed you have a ultra psu, you may want to check your voltages, it could very well be your problem. If its not the vid card, which i dont think it is, then it's the PSU. Ultra is a renamed piece of junk. Get an enermax, or some other dependable PSU. That will set you straight. Then when you get everything runing come play Counter strike source on this server 69.90.113.70:27015. look for [TDS]Jester2k.
