fps program?

Going about forums I have noticed everyone is always talking about how many fps they get. Well I just got my new system rolling and I was looking for a program to check out how many fps my pc is capable of. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Send a message via MSN to netnamakan
If you look it up, most games have a built in fps display, it just requires a console command.

however if you dont mind a tiny performance hit then www.fraps.com it can take pictures and video as well
