WoW is WOW
Personally I have had no interest in Online MMORPG's since UO: Renaissance. My friend purchased WoW, and it included a free 10 day trial with it for someone else. So I figured I would install the 4 disks and see what the hype was all about. I loaded it, created my orc warrior, and BAM I was hooked. I think the only reason I do enjoy it so much is because I have always liked the warcraft games. I havn't been this addicted since I played all-nighters of Ultima in junior high.
![]() Highly suggest this game for anyone looking for this type of genre. |

I'm hooked on it too. One of the best designed games out there, and certainly the coolest MMORPG

Yeah... I never played those kinds of games either, but I liked Warcraft 2 and 3, so I tried it out and I'm hooked. I've been sleeping and eating the game for about a month now.

You know what I'm not hooked whatsoever because I never played it...Its best to stay off drugs; both physical and digital. Plus I remember getting hooked on a game called Raven-Shield and I wasted so much time (about 42+ hours a week)
Heard good things about warcraft, but I'll save my 10 dollars a month.

I think that's the bind for me... I have no desire to play $10 a month when I can't really guarantee I'm going to use it that much
I'd rather pay more for the game and play for free |

I've been going crazy since WoW came out not because I've been playing it but because I can't! My PC is too damn old. I got a job now delivering pizzas so I can build a new PC, and you'd better believe I'm gonna ram into WoW the first day my PC is powered up.
As for the monthly fee, I'm GLAD and THANKFUL its there because without it Blizzard would have a smaller budget which means less WoW and more Meh. But I don't blame you if you don't want to pay the service fee - some people may not value WoW as much as I sure will. |

I also have been having much fun playing- the game is incredibly huge. Only beef is (and this is coming from a mostly FPS player) is the clipping (or lack of?)- a goblin or whatever is shooting something at you (arrows, fireballs, it doesn't matter)- so you duck behind a rock- but guess what- the projectile goes right through the rock as if it wasn't there.- As the saying goes- you can run but you can't hide.
Other than that- it can be fun- especially when you team up with a group with diverse skills. |

It's not a game I can play all day though
2 hours a day is a lot, grinding loses it's fun rather quickly.
