Question Error when starting Quake 3

Can someone please tell me what the hell this means, when starting quake 3 pc freezes and gives me this error message.

Win2k, 256ram, athlon 900mhz

What videocard and drivers are you using?

NVidia Riva TNT2 i dont know about the driver where can i go and check

Hi again,

Been down the same road before (TNT2 Ultra and Win2k)...go here and try those steps, should fix it.
