Talking The Signs that you play too much video games...

For me i used to play way too much halo.

there was a thread about signs of playing too much halo on the halo ce forum at the gearbox site (i think they rebuilt the site cuz hte forums were lost...or the old articles at least waaaa)

any how some of the good ones were...

When ur walking down the street and some one else is walking faster then u, u yell h4xr!!!

U pretend to be the master chief and get blue socks and try to throw them at the cars like they were plasma nades.

u start talking in slang, ex. pwn (just curious, how do u pernouce it? we have our own way of it, so does CS, i think its pawned for CS, its powned or owned with a p on it for halo)

often quote from red vs blue... (my absolute favorite cuz i can relate to it)

and a few others but right now i just completely spaced out... oh well just curious what other ppl have to say

im sure theres more(they dont have to be real, like the blue sock{well im not sure} just some comments) so plz comment on what ever signs u think, CS, HL2, Halo, what ever games.

knock ur self out gonna go watch some rvb LOL

Halo is good, but Raven Shield is fun too.

- when you start telling ppl that you are walking with that you "have them covered"

- you scan around corners as you walk around your house

- you notice that your mall and school would make nice RB6 maps

- you often wonder how many 'nades *you* could carry b/c 6 just ain't enough

- every game you play must have ppl on & using TeamSpeak, Roger Wilco, etc.

- you wonder why all the terro's are just standing around waiting for you in every map

- you feel you could be a cop without a seconds thought

- and lastly, you crouch when you walk down streets so that possible gun fire won't hit you

Well I know I play way to much CounterStrike:Source.

- When I goto to fill up my car and head inside to pay, I look for the B (buy)button.

- owned is apart of my vocab now.

- When I call for my kids I say "Report in Team".

-I find my self at work hitting R to reload..... while I'm using Outlook!!

I drive alot so I should be really greatful I'm not a GTA fanatic.

lol, I actually did this not long ago. I was in a casino hotel a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't help thinking how cool of a map it would make. Sad...

Me and a few others actually started building a CS map of our accommodation and our food hall. And I know I've played too much CS because, despite not having played in over 6 months, I still find myself pressing R in other shoot-em-ups
