Angry Rogue Squaron 3d On Win Xp Problems

Hi all,
Just got a new PC specs at bottom. I installed Rogue 3D and have some video problems. If I open DX Diagnostics (in the game) I get an error: "problem getting extra display info" (result code= 0x88760231) Under "systems Info" it says I'm running WinNT but I've got XP sp2 It also says I have DX5 and I have DX9 How can I get it to recognise what I actually have? I also have X-Wing Alliance Installed but it recognises correctly. They have the same Diagnostics, so why the difference? When playing Rogue 3D the opposing aircraft are kind of jittery and control of my craft is unstable. (joystick is new and worked great on my old PC Win98) Occasionally when opening a new mission it will kick me out and say windows has encountered a problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Try reinstalling the game and/or your DirectX drivers. Mr brother has XP and it runs it. He has 256 PC2100 ram, 1.8P4, ATI 9200. I had the game on the same make PC until I sold it and it ran fine.
