Sacred is a very good Diablo-esque RPG. It has an online element also that is free. If ur looking for an in-depth RPG go with Morrowind. Temple of Elemental Evil is supposed to be very good also. Thats all i can think of right now. WoW is very good but has a fee. Knights of the Old Republic is a good game, and so is the second one. I'm not sure if those have fees or not but i'm pretty sure they're completely online. I just read about Hellgate: London and that game sounds amazing even tho there not anywhere near done with it.

It was a decent game in my opinion, however it was extremely weak compared to the first one. It was quite short, the "minions" or "easy kills" were harder than some of the "bosses". And in general not up to scratch with KOTOR. I'd buy it if the price drops after awhile.

Warcraft 3 online customs...best fast action I have found.
For that long adventure that is free I would have to say modular base Never Winter Nights (all expansions and patches.) For world base Runescape is ok...(although free accounts suck compaird to the paid.) Also check out FreeWorld... its in constant beta and the best free graphical MMORPG.

Redmoon Online, Free to download, and if you download it from www.filefront.com it comes with a server that someone made so it is free online too! I love this game, diablo-like gameplay, but you can go up to like level 1000 or something like that. It's fun and very addictive. It's my favorite game for the PC.

Neverwinter Nights has a ton of custom modules made by amateurs that are as good as the real campaign.
http://www.gameogre.com/nwn.htm The Shadowlords ones under "nwn module reviews" are awesome, and better than the campaign the game came with to be honest. |

If your looking to play an old RGP game, you can try The Fourth Coming. Been playing it for about 5 years now and it's good if you want to unwind. It shows it's age compared to the new RPG games but I believe it's worth playing.
There are a few servers that have either free game time, limited free game time or they charge a monthly/quarterly/yearly subscription. Good luck |

another vote for morrowind. i just bought the game of the year edition about a month and a half ago, and i'm hooked. i have a buddy at work who played it for a solid year, without the expansions. it's definitly worth the money. my first rpg, and i can't believe how much fun it is. nice graphics too.

I was a big Dungeons and Dragons fanatic when I was younger so I would recommend any of their titles. Such as Baldur's Gate I and II, Icewind Dale I and II, Neverwinter Nights, Pool of Radiance and so on. I never really played much of the Final Fantasy series because I was so used to the way the D&D RPG's played. That also goes for Morrowind.
If you want some sweet online play go with Neverwinter Nights and its two expansion disks. You can really lose yourself in the game for hours at a time. Quite addictive!

I didn't like NWN.... it's controls were too cumbersome for me, especially when compared to Sacreds

Morrowind, but only if you have time to kill. It is way addictive and you can play forever without doing everything. Heard the expansions are good, but i'm just gonna wait for the sequel, Oblivion (though I might be waiting a long time). It's gonna be incredible if they can pull it off.
