benchmarks

What's a benchmark score? and how do i take one? (i have an idea on what it is)

just download aquamark or 3dmark and run the test. They are pretty large files though.

Im not sure about their websites so just do a search and it will bring it up

Aquamark is a good graphics benchmarking program. Futuremark has programs for benchmarking graphics performance and overall system performance.

Basically, it's a means to boasting IMHO
Unless you have a super flash system and want to compare it to others to see whose is better, don't worry about benchmarking
