Doesn't seem too low to me... That's about what I get with my desktop.

Yea, but does it play games well? That's the question. You can look at those numbers all day but you have to play a game to see what it can really do.

Did you say the computer sucked before the benchmarks were run? I sat for a few days playing with benchmarks, always scoring a lil lower then I could be with my setup, but the computer runs great and never holds me up with any speed problems. Ran HL2 like a dream in my eyes... I couldn't ask any more of it. If you think it runs well then keep that in mind, not what some programs says it runs like.

That seems normal to me. I have the same cpu as you, and the same GFX card with a gig of kingston pc3200, and with nothing oc'ed I score 47,800

48k is a very respectable score. 6800GTs only score 15k above you and in real game performances, 6600GTs perform admirably. What are you so frustrated about?

1 - no cause for complaint there rip, they're good scores
2 - if the games are running fine, an extra score of 2,000 on Aquamark prolly won't make any difference to you visually, and will cost a lot in time and/or money to get If the system runs fine, sit back and enjoy it. Benchmarking is like comparing penis size in the playground IMO (sorry if that seems crude, but it's true) |
