PCI or AGP?
still learning.....
is the agp slot more efficent as to the pci video card slot for game performance? Regards Pot...

Yes.
There are exceptions to every rule, of course. If you knock all your games down to low detail and low color depths to maximize speed then the difference won't be as noticable. At 1024 x 768 and higher it becomes obviously noticable. Xayd |

So the speed difference relates directly to the speed of the bus{es}? Last question, how do I know then if my vid card is running at full potential? Duron 800 Voodoo 3 2000 PCI 128 sdram. thanx in advance for any replies. Pot.... |

You have a good card. If you are having performance problems, try installing more memory to your computer. I was suffering from precache lag at the start and jerky play, despite having a p3 with 933 mhz. I added another 128 ram and my problems are over.
