Newbie Help
Two questions for anybody that can help?
I have 2x Nvidia 6800GT's in SLI Config but i am confused which DVI connector to use, there are two on each card? The one i chose brings up a picture on the monitor no problem but i would like to know if it makes any difference as to which one you use?? Also can Far Cry be used with a gamepad? I bought a wireless Saitek unit and installed no problem but there doesn't seem to be any option in the game to switch to a gamepad?? Any help anyone can provide would be appreciated? (bearing in mind i'm new to this / not too technical). Barry. |

Barry,
It makes no difference. I have the system listed below. Make sure you are in true SLI mode. This is a setting in both your BIOS and graphics card drivers. Set your SLI or single card setup in your BIOS to AUTO and make sure you have the correct box checked for SLI mode in your driver software. Also make sure you have the little card in the slot on your mobo between the graphics cards in the correct direction. There is a balance feature that determines the load on each card in your driver software...make sure they balance...or are close.
