Star Wars BattleFront?

Just wondering if anyone plays Star Wars BattleFront?

I have been playing it at lan partys with friends and I have it on order, I know it isn't the lastest and hottest game and Battlefront 2 is being made. BUt looking to see how many might be interested in playing if I put a server for it?

I played it at a LAN party last april...*everyone* got tired of it after a few hours. It's not a very dynamic game, hence the lack of popularity.

Isn't it merely a star wars dubbed battlefield 1942 game?

Ok, I got my BattleFront today fresh from ebay. Anyways, I am going to be setting up a game server with it tonight and testing it.

If anyone is interested in Playing battleFront on my server just send me a PM and I will give you the connection info and times it will be up. At first it will probably only be available in the evening hours unless I know people are going to be playing at other times.

Going to start tonight and we will go from there and see what happens.

==========================================================
EDIT
Incase it matters, I plan to run with patch 1.2.

Ok, i have it, but I just found an issue, if I do a deicated server, with the default software it only allows 3 people to play, if I host on the machine I play, i can have 4 people,

another issue, default software, if I host an internet game, my other machine can not connect to it.

I am going to look into the deicated server software, I believe it is available, i read something about that.

I believe the server limit is 32. It's burried in the settings panel somewhere.
