Gamespot has a program I believe where you can pay then download games from them. If I'm wrong then it's IGN -- it's one of the two.
If you're talking about downloading without paying for it then you'll have to go ask elsewhere. PcMech doesn't condone that type of action.

Yep IGN are affiliated with www.fileplanet.com which has a pay to download games system. It works pretty well too, If you join the club they usually offer a free game download.

It is online only (except for the training you have to do at the beginning), and I don't know if that's something you're interested in, but you may also want to check out America's Army. I haven't been playing it much recently, but I found it to be a very fun game. And it's a free one, so you might want to check it out anyway.

Is that a mod -- do you have to have the original RTCW to be able to play it?

Nope it was going to be an add on pack awhile back but they decided it wasnt worth charging for so they released it as a stand-alone game for free. I just downloaded it and started playing and now im addicted again lol. Its darn hard to get people to work together in it though. Everybodys always doing their own thing.

hmm its kinda like Battlefield1942, your basically a soldier for the axis or allies. Theres different job classes you can choose like medic, soldier, mechanic, sniper, covert. Covert is pretty cool because you can steal a uniform off a dead enemy and sneak into their base. The mechanic can fix turrets and mortars, set mines, stuff like that. Each level has different objectives, one may be taking over areas of the map and holding them (creating spawn points closer to the enemys camp). Its kinda like starseige tribes but based on WWII. Another maybe defussing a bomb at the enemy camp. One level you have to escort a tank all the way to the enemys camp. So you have to have someone driving the tank, soldiers around it to protect it, and mechanics behind it to keep repairing it while the enemys shooting at it. Involves teamwork and a bit of strategy if you can get everyone to co-operate. Its alot of fun, i recommend it, heck its free too.
