Doom 3 and fps

Hey,

What is the command (and how do you get to it) to see your fps while in game? The usual ~ isnt working for me.

Thanks -- I've been trying it out and I continuously get 100 + (it'll jump above 200 quite often) while playing, and I'll get 40-50 when a lot of action occurs. Is this normal for my configuration? I have everything on high and a resolution of 1280 x 1040. Thanks.

That sounds about right. I get consistent 60 fps with my desktop, and I have it on ultra with 1024x768. You might try a lower resolution with more AA/AF to get it to look better, but your performance seems reasonable.

Is your usual Fraps? If not, Google it. Its a great utility.

I've never used fraps before, would that provide me with a more accurate test?
