Funny Area51 Demo Level
WARNING: DO NOT READ THIS UNLESS YOU DON'T PLAN ON PLAYING AREA51 OR HAVE ALREADY PLAYED THE DEMO. IF YOU READ THIS POST FIRST, A SURPRISE WILL BE RUINED FOR YOU.
Alright, hopefully I'm not ruining anyone's surprise; I did give fair warning. So I just played through the Alien51 demo, and it was alright. I have to give them props, though. I was passing from one section of the level to another via an elevator, and the next scene consists of a lunar landing set. (There are some conspiracy theorists out there that believe that the 1969 and subsequent lunar landings were fabricated and filmed by the US government.) I found this level to be quite amusing, although I really shouldn't have been as surprised as I was. I mean, your character IS in Area51 battling aliens. If you shoot the earth, it falls a bit as a cardboard cutout would. When you put two batteries into the crane, the top of the lunar lander "blasts off" with thruster flames as the crane lifts it up. The whole time you're in this level, you hear all kinds of instructions or observations made by the film crew or the lander's supposed earth-based command center. Overall, the uniqueness of the lunar lander level was enough to crack me up, but sadly the demo disappointed me a bit. Anyways, download the demo and see what I mean. Hopefully I didn't ruin the surprise for anyone, and if I did.... well, I DID warn you.

Ive seen levels like that in other games, making fun of the supposed filming of the lunar landing. Didnt one of the Tony Hawk games have a level where you went in a room and it was staged as the lunar landing with fake gravity and all.
