Difference between retail and import versions of Half-Life 2?

This is a simple question. What is the difference between the retail version of HL2 and the import version you can buy off newegg? I'm hoping nothing since the import is around $20 cheaper, but for this price something must be missing.

Thanks.

The import version of Half-life 2 is only $5 cheaper than the retail version. Newegg has the retail version for $35. I wouldnt think that there would be any difference between the 2 versions other than the packaging. Personally, I would just pay the extra 5 bucks and get the retail version though.

edit: Just read some reader reviews and it seems the "import" version is identical. Might as well get it and save 5 bucks.

I have the import version and the only difference is the packaging. Everything else is the same.

Would the import version just include more languages? Is it the european / international version?
