3d Mark says...

3d Mark says my gaming system sucks..

I ran it and I got 5-9 FPS the most I saw was 10!!!

and it gave me a rating of 1507!

I run most games with ok to great performance yet this got me worried.

My specs are attached in a text file.
If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

Im assuming your running 3dmark05. Is your video card a 9800 or 9800 Pro? That might be about right for a 9800, I think a 9800 Pro scores around 2200-2400.

i have a 6800GT and i only see average frames in the 20s so its nothing to worry about if you have a 9800/9800Pro. I would be much more concerned with the frames you get within games then what a program tells you how good your games play. You play your games, benchmarks don't.

To re-iterate what Yuanji said, benchmark scores are just a guide to help with comparison of systems, and in all reality that score means nothing to the price of fish in Norway. If it plays games fine, and does what other tasks you want to achieve with it, then be happy

I'd imagine the computer I'm using at the moment would have a rating of perhaps 1200, I have no idea, nor do I care. I mostly use it for work and web-surfing, and it runs all the modern games fine without lag, so I don't care. My video card is only a 64bit
