recommend a joystick & mic
Well, I've conceded the fact that I won't really be able to play Battlefield 2 to it's fullest without a joystick and a mic, and I haven't bought either in over 5 years so I need recommendataions.
I'm not looking to spend a lot on either, and I have a pair of nice headphones so the mic should be something that can clip on or attach somehow. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have the Logitech Attack 3. I've had it for over a year and no problems at all.

just an aside, is the attack 3 able to twist to control the rudder or how would you go about that because i've heard people say that you should have rudder control in a joystick for BF2

I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro and I love it. It is able to twist to control rudder. It's very reliable, and comfortable too. I bought it for $40 last year, so I dont know how much it is now. It doesn't have force feedback though -- those are more expensive.

(All headsets which rests behind the neck - instead of over the head -- are painful to me though). These are them. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...CONTENTID=9523 They work well -- my old ones were logitech too (I guess I like the brand, IDK) and went over my head. They broke because I ran over them by accident. They shouldn't break unless you're excessively rough with them.
