Halo 3

to all you Halo fans just wanted to let you know that it appears that microsoft and bungie are gonna be releasing Halo 3 sooner rather than later.
pcmag stated that the xbox 360 will be released for the holiday season in 2005. the PS3 will be released in japan in the spring of 2006 and it should be released in the states for the holiday season of 2006. microsoft stated that they would be releasing Halo 3 the same day that PS3 hits the market.

unfortunately, the magazine i had didnt say anything about whats in store for Halo 3. im hoping for a wider range of weapons, and vehicles. a ton of new boards all though i still like some of the throw back boards from halo 1. they need to release some more halo 1 boards either for halo 2, or include them on halo 3, a longer campaign (to me it seemed that the halo 1 campaign was longer and more challenging then on Halo 2). those are some of the things im hoping to see from bungie.

I have been searching far and wide for news relating to Halo2 for the PC.. I cant find anything. My guess is Microsoft wants to use it as a tool to sell the new X-Boxes. There is no way am I going to buy an X-Box to get Halo2

They better do something exciting for Halo 3. I'm a big fan of 1 & 2, but frankly, Halo 2 was a commercial sequel like Doom 2 was to Doom, and I was pretty disappointed (I even bought the collectors edition! >=/ )

Halo 2 was really made for the MP, it didn't seem like a ton of effort was put into the SP mode.

Go check out Gamespot's coverage of the consoles -- I learned about Microsoft's marketing scheme with Halo 3 while they were covering E3. I'm sure they have the old E3 stuff still up somewhere, plus more details on anything you'd ever want to know. Good luck.

i liked halo 2 except for the end, it was way to much of a cliffhanger. I hope they finish 3 off a lot better.

Halo 3...bah...I'm still waiting for Halo2 for PC's. You won't see me rushing to buy a console.
