Splinter Cell Problem

I have been playing Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow lately and it's fun. It came with my video card. It was working fine until I tried multiplayer. I started the multiplayer app and noticed there were 4 new patches that I hadn't installed. I installed all of them and now I cannot get into the multiplayer or single player portion of the game at all! Every single time it says "Please insert the correct DVD-ROM". It does this even when I start the game from the autorun menu. Any ideas?

Personally I don't let games update themselves for me, I choose to go to the website and get the updates myself. Seeing as the patch has already caused a problem, I would reinstall the game and get the correct patch for the game from their website. I had the same problem with NFSU 2 when I got the UK patch instead of the US patch, maybe you're having a similiar issue. Are there different patches for the PC-CD and DVD versions of the game? Maybe that has something to do with it as well.

Hope that helps.

I went to the website and got the patches myself. Now that I think about it, I think I have an international version of the game. I noticed there is not a US rating label on it (T for Teen). There is an australian rating and two others that I'm not sure of.
