Video Card for WoW

Hi, I play a lot of World of Warcraft, and Ive heard that the game really is designed for nVidia based cards. can anyone attest to the difference in graphics quality between ATI and nVidia for this game? I am actually considering buying a new card in the near future, and I was wondering what nVidia based cards would go well with my system (listed in sig). i'm not really sure of a price range.... i suppose $200-$250 would be preferable...

I somehow doubt that it was designed for nVIDIA as much as many other games were (like Doom 3, Battlefield series). I noticed you have a R9600XT - that is far above and beyond the requirement of a "32MB+ GPU GF2 or newer". I would say specifically for WoW, you probably won't need to upgrade but if you feel the need to, take a look at the MSI Radeon X800 or MSI GeForce 6800.

if it's any help or reassurance, i played WoW on my friend's comp in china and it had a 9550 in it and still played great at 800x600 i think with medium settings.
