Gaming on a 128MB X300 PCI-E

Anyone know if a game like Splinter Cell will run on my laptop? The web site says you need-

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Supported Video Cards at Time of Release:

* ATI® RADEON® 8500/9000/X families
* NVIDIA® GeForce™ 3/4/FX/6 families (GeForce 4 MX not supported)

Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported. These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game. Additional chipsets may be supported after release. For an up-to-date list of supported chipsets, please visit the FAQ for this game on our support website at: http://support.ubi.com.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The link at the end doesn't say much different than what is said above.
I'm not much into gaming, but a friend has it on his X-Box and it looks fun. I just don't want to buy it if it isn't going to work well.

Computer:

Dell 6000
Pentium M 2.0Ghz
ATI MOBILITY RADEON X300 - 128MB
1Gig RAM
1920x1200 15.4" widescreen

Thanks,
Mhollinr

Is that because the game won't do it or my computer couldn't handle running it at that resolution?
