Open GL performance
I have an Athalon 750 (classic) system built around an Epox 7KXA motherboard. I'm using a Creative Annihilator Pro with 32 MB of DDR. The AGP aperture is set at 128 MB, with 4X AGP and fast write enabled. It was running fine until I installed Rogue Spear. The program required installing the newest drivers.
I installed the latest Nvidia drivers (release V634a) from the Creative site. The card runs, but my OPEN GL performance has fallen from 292 MPixels/s to 28MPixels/s (an increase from 0.3 seconds to complete the WinTune OpenGL test to a full 3 seconds). I've tried uninstalling and reloading both the pervious driver set and the new set (and even the basic drivers that came on the CD-ROM with the card), but I can't get the Open GL performance back. The rest of the benchmarks are the same, but I've noticed the decline in performance.
Any ideas about how to get this back to the pervious performance???
