Need help installing Castles 2 on PC...

Hello. I am trying to install Castles II on to my PC and am having trouble. I installed it from the CD and it took me to DOS. I changed to my CD drive and typed install (as it told me to do in the readme file). After it was installed, I typed in the directory and then typed the file name, but then I get an error that says "CASTLES 2 ERROR 1 EMS NOT FOUND". I have no idea what this means or how to fix it. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

If I recall correctly EMS refers to the way DOS handled memory allocation. Extended Memory Something I believe, where Something is actually something else.

What OS do you have right now? I've had very limited success getting old DOS games to work with recent operating systems, so I don't have a lot of specific advice to give.

Castles 2 was an excellent game though, I spent many sleepless nights (and the accompanying sleepful school days) with that game.

Thanks for the info. I actually figured it out by googling "Enable EMS".
