God of War::best RPG for console imho
I haven't played console in so long, but God of War has me stuck on the coach instead of at my desktop pc. I haven't played through the whole game yet but I find myself never tired of fighting my way through ancient greece.
Im sure there have already been posts about this game but I wanted to bring it back up since it did win a couple awards at Gphoria the other day. One award was for best boss, that was the huge hydra on the boat. And I can't remember what the other was, anybody else see the show? |

Yea its a really good game, I was addicted to it for quite awhile. The bosses are alot of fun and the graphics are top notch. Id say its more of an action platformer than an rpg though, but it does have rpg elements. It seems every genre is adding rpg elements to it, gives them more depth.

God of War was one of my favorite PS2 games. You'd think the fighting would get a little repetative and annoying, but i enjoyed every second of the game. Kudos to sony development on that game.
 the next release for PS2 im looking forward to is "Shadow of the Colossus". Looks like itll be great.

Action platformer...true, rpg is more like Guild Wars and WoW.
Shadow of the Colossus looks interesting, should be a lot of fun I hope. I imagine there will probably be a lot to figure out while trying to kill each colossi
