on-board video card
Hi,
Is there a way to remove or disable a integrated video chip on a motherboard? I tried to disable it by the device manager, but there was no option to disable it. I'm trying to update the video card. If I install the new card will it override the old one? Thank's S.R. |

Yes, no, and maybe.
Each mobo is different. Some have a jumper to disable it, some in BIOS, some will just ignore the on board video if there's a vid card in pci slot 1. Only one way to find out, grab a PCI vid card and try one. Xayd |
