New Games Coming UP!!!

Well I have been surfing the net as my usual habit and looking at the new stuff...

Quake 4
Half Life 2 Aftermath
F. E. A. R.
Spore
Rise of Nation: Rise of Legends
SW: Battlefront 2
SW: Empire at War

are just some that i looked at, thse are all pc games, i mean i did look at some of the PS3 and XBOX 360 games, Killzone 2, metal gear solid but the pc ones... incredible.

if any of you have the time look at the Quake 4 gameplay... its just incredible how much the gaming industry has changed.

so what are all of you looking forward to?

Whew, looks like some good games are around the corner. It seems like there is always a big game coming out that everyone is waiting for, but this time of year always seems dead. At least we have a few things to look forward to.

What genre is Empire at War supposed to be? RTS?

Quake 4
HL2: Aftermath
SW: BF2
SW: EaW

Those all look good.

HL2: Aftermath

Can't say I've had much change to play any games this summer, though. It's been quite a busy summer

Not bad, TR. Hella busy as you can read in the "The family that plays together..." thread. Thanks for asking. Hope everything's good with ya.

Ya, that game has to come out eventually. S'posedly it's still in the works from what I read in the PCG preview of Prey, another game that has been in developer's hades for years now. Ahh, I remember reading in the Computer Gaming magazine back in 1995 that Prey would "do to Quake what Duke Nukem 3D has done to Doom." Well, maybe they were talking about Quake 4.

Everything's been good, NK, all things considered. I read your posts in the "family" thread and it sure seems like you've been working your "you-know-what" off!

I'm looking forward to Half Life 2 Aftermath, Age of Empires III, Call of Duty 2, Oblivion and F.E.A.R. Excuse the ignorance, but what is Spore??

Also, I didn't like Black & White, it was really cumbersome and hard to understand what to do... will B&W2 be any better??

From what I read (quite some time ago I might add) they are going to improve the user interface. However I played the original and I niether like it or dislike it - I would really like a playable demo of the new one to see if it has actually been improved.

Yeah likewise... I really didn't like the controls for the game, the giant monkey would only sometimes do what I told him to, and it was hard to understand how to progress to the next level
