WoW Problems
I just got WoW and it is great. Its so addicting, I got it yesterday and Im up to level 9, almost didnt make it to work. But I have a weird problem with starting the game. When I start the game it opens and immediatley minimizes by itself. When I try to type in my account info the darn thing keeps minimizing. Any ideas why it keeps doing this? Once I get logged into the world everything runs fine. Btw, im an orc hunter named Runer on the Illid server.

Do you have any other applications running when trying to open Wow, I have the same problem when I have windows media player busting out some tunes and I try to open up FarCry or Unreal2K4. In my case, if I close windows media player the games boot up fine, w/o minimizing.

I close almost everything. I close aim, my firewall, msn messenger, quicktime player. I pause folding at home and snooze my anti-virus. The only thing I really have running in my task tray is an ati icon for my display settings and a sound manager icon and an icon for FAH and antivirus.

Instead of pausing F@H I started just quiting it and havent had the problem. Seems like maybe F@H was keeping WoW from starting up right. Any way this game is great so far, we should start a pcmech guild!

 We should also have PCMech Guild Wars guild, beat the game and now its gotten boring without guild to have battles with. |

Yeah, I'd join a PCMech alt guild anyday. Just set up which server you guys wanna play on.

Yea if someone starts a pcmech guild on WoW ill definatley join. Im still too much of a newb to figure out how to start one right now. Doesnt it cost gold peices to start a guild?

id join, especially if you guys set it up before friday (looks like im getting my computer then, im going to try to go ahead and order my graphics card and ram today so it will be in by the time i get the computer) then you guys can help me out with all the n00b stuff
