GameAdvisor Percentile

Just ran GameAdvisor http://gameadvisor.futuremark.com/ga.../my_system.jsp and got in the top 1% with the system in my sig.

What percentile have you gotten?

So you spent alllll that money on a killer rig... which is depreciating to the point of having a 10 dollar bill fall off it for every hour of use... and you don't even game!?

You're odd

Yes I had the same problem, I disbaled it as 'forever' and rebooted and then did it. Then after enabled the firewall.

I have a feeling that perhaps not that many other 'super computers' have tried the test. Let about FX57s and dual 7800gtxs at it they would be in the 0 percentile. I am not even sure it detected my second video card.

OKAY, I disabled the firewall before opening the page in IE. It seems to be going now...

Okay... 6%!! I didn't think it would be that high, but as you said probably not many of the really good computers have been recorded in.

Btw, here are some specs:

P4 2.66GHz @ 2.9Ghz Northwood 533 Mhz FSB (Socket 478) | FIC 865PE MAX | 1.5GB (2 x 512MB, 2 x 256MB) | ATi X800 XL AGP | Hitachi 60GB 7200RPM IDE - Seagate 160GB 7200RPM IDE | Samsung DVD-ROM | NEC DVD+RW | Floppy | MadDog 350W
3dmark05: 5101 | Aquamark3: 55,064 (8601 / 7658) | Pcmark05: 3342

Hey now, I ain't playing on chopped liver! Seriously though, that is probably very true....I doubt the database is very large yet. I would still expect to be high up in the percentile even with more registered, but doubtful it would be top 1%. Still, I'll take it!

Both of us would be pretty high up, especially since we are in the top 1% now.

My System Performance
54% of the systems scanned by the Game Advisor rank higher in performance than your system.

That's 53% higher than my care factor... that 1% representing curiosity

Your system is among the top 2% of all systems scanned by the Game Advisor.
I imagine it will continue to go down as more people test their systems with this. I'm happy with it anyway.

I'm in the top 34%. Not too bad I guess.
