far cry video settings
i downloaded the demo for farcry and when i told it to auto detect video settings, everything was low. why is that, is it normal. it shouldn't happen if i have a 6600gt

No one has updated the demo from a year ago, well early 2004, so it doesn't know about 6600gt video cards.
It's default settings are to enable it on a 5200 so adjust as necessary.

With a 6600gt you should be able to get everything on medium settings - with dual 6800s I still get odd rendering and a little patchy areas when running w/ all the eyecandy - I drop down to just high...
