Anyone still play GuildWars??

I got bored of it a while back after I became lvl 20 and began battling in the HoH. That too got old; after a few exciting victories our pickup group got destroyed by some team which practiced and played together for what seemed like 24/7. So eventually I just stopped all together... now I am thinking about playing again but am looking to see if anyone is interesting in maybe starting a "pcmech guild" and maybe practice a little together and fighting in the HoH maybe ever friday (or some time that works for everyone.)

Anyone else interested?

After establishing a small group we could probably set up a guild web site and have some sort of guild bank or something. (I am so out if the game perhaps this is already built in).

I would say we need about 18 people all at lvl 20 and of those 16 at least 4 elementalists (fire and earth), 4 monks, and 4 warriors.

Trust me, once you start you can't stop, its really addicting, boring after you hit lvl 20, cant wait till there is an expansion to raise that to live 40 or higher.

I love how there's no subscription fee (being a parent) but it doesn't look as...BIG as WoW.

Ill be in it also.. and ill bring a friend. We both are in the same category. Over the summer we were addicted, then level 20 hit and bam boring. My friend still plays off and on..but in like 2 weeks we both are in.

Great, I will make the guild tomorrow and call it simply PcMechanic PCME for short and I will work on whiping up enough money for capes (I should have enough).

I'm not askin for lots of time, I will try to do most of the work myself, I bought the guild and capes, and will try to earn enough money pretty soon for the hall. Current funds are 2 plat (I bought myself new armour ), hall costs around 37 to 80 plat, and I have enough runes to sell to probably get to 30 plat, so I don't have too much work to do. If interested definately contact me or what ever... once we have some members I will try to create a website (no gurantees) but so we have a place to discuss when would be the best times for a GvG battle and what not.

im in ryan, i played guild wars all summer, but haven't for a couple months. i will add you to my friends list. problem is i don't know if my guild is still together since i havent played in a while. ah well either way it would be fun to be in a bigger guild.

also i am an elementalist/ranger...one elementalist down 3 to go

Great, I will probably be on for a good part of this evening; and possibly wednesday (no school). As for being "bigger" well not yet... we could search and invite others, but I frankly I was in like 12 Guilds over the summer and all fell apart b/c of some jerk(s) who would buy his way up to an officer position and fire everyone, so I just don't trust anyone on the game. Seeing your interest shows me that I can trust you; Kinda making it sound like serious stuff but really I would much rather form a well rounded 'good' guild that is more laid back and easygoing than an uber serious one which will demand hours of play and continuos guild battles....

Little update... Just totaled 10k in the bank today... so far pretty good for the amount of time I have dedicated... also I will probably be able to get a decent web page up and running within a few weeks...

cool man, i will go online right now and see if your on. i was in one small guild this summer with close friends that i knew well and it was a lot of fun so another small to medium sized easygoing guild suits me just fine. i think i got to lvl 15 or higher but not quite 20 before my guild broke up. my name is magical counselor in the game.

I wouldn't mind joining, but I only logged onto my account for about three hours, so I'm still major newb material. I'm good at MUDs though (had a lvl 140 sorc in a text-based one I played for about 7 years)

EDIT: Doh! I lost my install CDs. At least I still have my CD Key. :grumble:
