bf2 laggy

i have 2gb of ocz performance ram with a evga 7800gtx. everything is stock. Before, everything was fluid but now its laggy as hell. i defragged, uninstalled the game, reinstalled it, did the same for the drivers too. i even tried with the drivers that came on the cd with the card. what could be the problem? btw i have patch 1.03 installed. Thanks in advance.

check if you have virus. run ad-ware, spybot.
exactly when did it start happen do you know? after installing 1.03 patch?

no it was ok with 1.02 then after a week with 1.02 it became laggy. I just installed 1.03 yesterday with no avail. i have no viruses or adware. btw its the rig in my sig, if that helps

Check to make sure in game video settings like AA and AF are not conflicting with the AA and AF settings you assigned through Nvidia's software.
