Solitaire

Seriously, I have pre-ordered Civilization IV, which should be out next week. I play mainly sports and simulation games, no FPS stuff.

Well I got AOE a couple days ago (Yawn.)

Warcraft 3 seems to be my current favorite.

Been playing Rise of Nations recently. I'm a huge Baldur's Gate fan and I really like most RPGs. FPS are O.K. too.

I'm very much into the FPS games, I'm not especially good at RTS and such but I do enjoy custom games on WC3

I plan on doing a lot more FPS gaming (BF2, F.E.A.R. and CS: S), now that I got my new comp up and running!

I'm still enjoying Joint operations and a little Black Hawk Down once in a while. Tried BF2 a few times but i cant seem to get into it. Just down think it's fair to ask an infantryman to go against a fighter jet or attack chopper. Gonna try F.E.A.R. next week and probably AOE III. The first two were great although i didnt try them much on multiplayer.

Just starting playing F.E.A.R. and so far my impressions are that it is ok (But I've just started playing), but to me they're trying to bring a Max Payne feel to it and a Undying Feel to the game. So far F.E.A.R. hasn't creeped me out like Undying did The A.I. on F.E.A.R. so far is great, so the more I play I have a feeling my rating for this game is going to go up.

Ravenshield and COD fan myself. I have played BF2 for a while, but just can't get "into" it. I'll probably pick up FEAR in the near future, and for the kid's sake, Serious Sam 2...they loved the demo.

None atm, can't wait to restart though, haven't really seriously played in over a year.

You should really have asked genre rather than game if there was only a single answer option

I'm cheap too. I usually wait until games get down to $20 or $30. I just bought Far Cry for $20. There are some that I will buy right away though.

CS:S
Halo

Games I wish i had more time to play:

BF2
All my XBox games
All my PS2 games

I play whenever i get a chance to but work is killing me lately! Wish I can just win the lotto and just sleep, eat, workout and play video games all in that order.

I'm with Colecifer and HiHo here... I normally wait for the games to drop massively in price. The only game I've paid full price for (and even then it was bought $20 cheaper on EBay) was Guild Wars

I'm a bargain bin game shopper, too. Not only does it save money on the games, but you don't have to have the latest-n-greatest vid card that way, either. I did break the rule with DooM 3 and HL 2, but I did get them on sale for $45 and $42 (still an ouch on the pocket, though!) Another game that was going to be an exception was Unreal, but I happened to find it miss-marked at $19.95 when it was the hottest game going.
