That is a good find, makes me realize I didn't really need an FX55, but I knew that when I bought it too. :P

You know...here's some food for thought. After I read that article I see that some of the games they tested are utilizing both cores of a dual core processor.

In the second article they tested older cpu's - yet mine too old to be on there. Do you think it's time for me to upgrade? I just bought COD 2 and it runs fine at 1280 x 1024 with everything turned to max and 4x AA (it's kind of weird). It does slow down a little when things get really intense though.
My system is in my sig.

I'm not a real fan of oc'ing but your fsb (like mine) is just waiting to be pushed a little further.
I'm holding out till the last possible moment but when I put the comp together it was at the back of my mind that it would oc to 3200+ speed if I put 3200 ram in it. |

Well this convinced me to go dual core, i couldnt decide on whether to go fx57 or x-2,even tho it said that i dont really need that much power, but yea this comp gotta last for maybe 2yrs (cpu wise) i wonder when the fx-59 comes out
