Question about vsync...

Im running a tnt2 (16mb) and I thought i read that disabling vsync would put out better performance. I play games in opengl.

disabling vsync will allow you to show more fps. usually only used for benchmarking purposes. you wont see any performance gain from disabling it. what it does is it syncs the fps to your monitors refresh rate and besides you might start to see some tearing if the fps is higher than the refresh rate of your monitor. i always leave it on on my system
