PSP Online help needed
Not sure if I'm posting in the right section, but can anybody tell me what I need to get my PSP online? Do I need a wireless router or can I just get a cheaper wi-fi card and use internet connection sharing?
I also have a DS, which I might use online if I decide not to sell it. I am just about to move ISP (Tiscali finally let me go - they are evil) and can get a wireless router with my proposed new ISP for about £30 so if that has any advantages over a wi-fi card I could go for that... Any advice appreciated. |

i have a psp and this is how i got it online. (aslo the wireless card doesnt let you go online, it just connects the pc to the wireless network, if you want a psp to go online wirelessly, you just need the router, but if you want a network, then you need the card)
1. have you got a wireless router? if yes, go to step 2, if no, you'll need to get one. 2. IF you have and set up a wireless network go to step 3, if not, search on these forums on how to do so, and youll have it set up in no time. And turn it on. 3.Now go to internet settings or something like that in the left hand menu on the psp and search for networks, yourse should show up. (remember the wlan switch) Now follow the onscreen instructions on how to set up a new network, and enter your wep or wpa code, and you should be connected. 4. And away you go!! Hope this helps 786ARS (by the way, i know what you mean about Tiscali, they are indeed evil) |

nope, the wireless card acts as a reciever, the psp has one built in. To connect to the internet you need a router, no exceptions.
