dos games
i have recently found a game i used to play all the time on my old computer but since i now have xp it doesnt work i have downloaded DOSbox which apperantly can run DOS games but i havent figured out how to work it
the game is tankarena http://www.three14.demon.nl/tank/ i have DOSbox .63 please help |

It says on the website that it will run on Windows 95-2000. Do you get an error when you run it? If so, what does it say?
I can run the original Lemmings in XP without problems.

title: 16 bit windows subsystem
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitible for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. choose 'close' to terminate the application this is the error when i try to run it with out dosbox keep in mind that i dont know how to run the game if possible with dosbox |

Did you try setting the Capatibility to Win 95 in the Properties sheet?

DOSBox requires you to mount directories as drives (i.e. c:\dosgames\tankarena mount to DOSBox's C drive). Also you will need to mount your CD drives as DOSBox drives. This way the emulator will have a filesystem to work with. It works fine with XP, I've used it in the past.
