A few newbie gaming questions...
1) When you install a game does it take up a lot of space? Or is it like Gamestations (XBOX, PS) where the cd holds all the info so your hardrive is little affected by it?
2) Is it ok to have multiple games installed at once? 3) What does FPS stand for? 4) Can playing online via free servers and pay servers cause damge to your system (pc) or take in viruses? Thanks |

1. Most games are fairly large. 2-5 GB.
2. Yes 3. "First Person Shooter" or "Frames Per Second" 4. It's possible, but not probable. Most game servers are safe, nothing to worry about.

The ammount of space required varies by game. Most take up 2-5 GB, like Spyder said, but some, like Half Life 2 take up nearly 8 GB. Most games require you to have the CD in the drive but this is mainly an anti-piracy measure. PC games could run without the CD (which I would prefer, prevents wear on the CD's). Quote:
